Ozarks actress to film new feature films

M ulti – talented, Actress/Producer, Juli Tapken (The Colors of Emily, Surrender,
Jeremy Brooks) heads to the Tennessee
Valley beginning in April 2015, to film the
redemptive feature films Providence, Mission
Improbable and The Reins Maker. Ms. Tapken
will be playing lead and strong supporting roles
in these promising faith based feature films to
be released over the next year. Providence is
the first to shoot, filming in Nashville,
Tennessee.
Providence is the story of a girl and a boy who grow up together , their lives keep intersecting,
but it's not until they're in their forties that they finally get together. It stars Emily Knapp (The
Good Book), Chase Anderson (Where Hope Grows) as Young Rachel and Mitchell, Stacey
Bradshaw (Touched By Grace).Josh Allen (Home Sweet Bus) as Teen Rachel and Mitchell,
Juli Tapken (The Colors of Emily), Rich Swingle (Beyond the Mask), as Adult Rachel and
Mitchell.
Providence is the sixth feature film for filmmakers Fred and Sharon Wilharm of Mainstreet
Productions. Previous films include Class of 91, Flowers for Fannie and The Good Book.
Flowers for Fannie and The Good Book are currently available in Christian stores and online
retail outlets.
Like The Good Book, Providence will be told without dialogue, using only dramatic action and
a dynamic soundtrack. The soundtrack will showcase an eclectic blend of indie music.
